On
January 5, 2000 at 4:00am in the morning, a landmark UFO sighting
occurred over the United States. Civilians and five Illinois police
officers observed a football field sized "Flying Triangle"
which exhibited aerodynamic characteristics inconsistent with any
known type of man-made aircraft. The sighting was of such
significance that one of the police officers was advised by two
"gentlemen" to "stop talking about it". The
sighting has been largely suppressed by the American mainstream
media.

Here, in a FACTUAL and
SOBER video documentary, experience this landmark UFO
sighting as four police officers commit themselves to videotape and
describe what they saw on the cold winter morning of January 5,
2000.

during the sighting, that were only
released after the producer of this documentary implemented
the Freedom of Information Act.
The testimony of five
witnesses, four of them police officers are captured in this video document "The Edge of Reality:
Illinois UFO, January 5, 2000".
The interviews were conducted
in January and February, 2000, and the intensity of this UFO sighting was still fresh in the
minds of the witnesses.
The filmmaker, Darryl Barker,
was impressed by the honesty and humility of these men, who had the courage to
commit their words to videotape, when ridicule had already been heaped upon
them.
Local (St. Louis) TV news, at first
excited to reveal the story, were suddenly silenced. And the leading local newspaper,
(the St. Louis Post-Dispatch) went from
unbiased news coverage to eventual debunking and outright slander as the
credibility of the witnesses was questioned.
As usual, a fantastic
sighting has occurred, this time seen by unimpeachable witnesses, and the story has been
killed.
It was the personal,
gut-feeling of the filmmaker, that these people saw something that was
truly awesome and difficult to justify with the senses.
Immediately after the sighting,
it found it's way to the Art Bell radio program and to a myriad of websites. The National Institute for Discovery Science in Las Vegas, Nevada conducted an in-depth investigation and have yet to find an explanation for the craft.
"The Edge of Reality: Illinois UFO, January 5, 2000" was part of a larger work in August,
2000, titled: The Edge of Reality: UFO Witnesses Speak Out". The show was seen by programming executives at FOX, The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, PBS, The History Channel, and A&E.
None of these major media outlets would acquire the program for national
distribution. Only the Discovery Channel produced their own program on the same sighting,
entitled, "UFO Over Illinois".
This UFO sighting is of major
importance, for it prompts many questions. There is no doubt that the witnesses
saw a UFO that exhibited flight characteristics unequaled by any known military
aircraft. Unless someone has actually conquered gravity and space-time, or they
are playing very clever (and immoral) mind-games with American citizens, the
January 5, 2000 UFO is looming as a very large UNKNOWN.
If the UFO seen on January 5,
2000 is not man-made, then we are being visited, in an increasingly OVERT
manner, by an intelligent life as yet unknown and officially, unacknowledged.
